Soya, Chickpea Tikki ( High in protein)
Ingredients:
- 1 cup boiled soya granules
- 1 cup boiled chickpeas (kabuli chana)
- 2-3 tbsp boiled rajma (kidney beans) optional
- 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup coriander leaves, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala
- Salt to taste
- Ghee for frying
Instructions:
- Mash the boiled chickpeas and rajma together in a bowl until they form a coarse mixture.
- Add the boiled soya granules, chopped green chilies, garlic paste, coriander leaves, chat masala powder, chilli powder and salt to the mixture. Mix well until everything is combined.
- Divide the mixture into small portions and shape them into tikkis or patties.
- Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat. Once the ghee is hot, carefully place the tikkis in the pan.
- Fry the tikkis until they are golden brown and crispy on both sides, flipping them occasionally to ensure even cooking.
- Once done, remove the tikkis from the pan and place them on a plate
- Serve the soya, chickpea, and rajma tikkis hot with mint chutney or hummus. Enjoy your delicious tikkis!
